The workshop
Leather goods, cut and stitched by hand
Zorelta is an independent leather workshop based in the United States. It was started by a maker who learned the craft repairing saddles and tack, where a failed stitch is not a cosmetic problem.
The workshop is small by design: a cutting table, a stitching pony, a shelf of hides and a wall of hand tools, many of them older than the person using them. We make every piece ourselves, from pattern to final edge burnish.
This website exists to introduce the workshop before the first collection is released. You can read about how pieces are made, follow the journal and contact us with questions. We are not taking orders and there is nothing for sale here.

An introduction, not a storefront
Zorelta uses this site to present the collection under development, explain our process and keep an open journal. You will not find a cart, a checkout or prices here, because we are not selling anything yet.
When the collection is released, this site will say so plainly. Until then, you are welcome to read, browse and get in touch.
